Thea Iberall

Thea Iberall (Playwright, Producer) is a playwright, poet and scientist. She studied playwriting at the Moving Arts Theatre and at the Academy of New Musical Theatre. Her produced plays and musicals include: Primed For Love (Eclectic Company Theatre), When I Was Called Tony (The Out Theatre), At Seven (Toledo Repertory Young Playgoer’s Series), and Amacry! The Neuronic Musical! (The Out Theatre). The author of The Sanctuary of Artemis: A Collection of Contextual Poems (Tebot Bach, 2011), Thea knows how to combine artistry with research. She is featured in the documentary “GV6: Poets, Passion and Poetry.” Besides being a writing teacher, Thea performs her one-woman show The Only Thing Greek About Me is My Name at theaters and organizations. Her visionary novel The Swallow and the Nightingale (Strong Voices, 2014) is about a 4,000-year-old secret brought through time by the birds. She has a Master's Degree in Writing (USC) and a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience (U Mass). www.theaiberall.com

Shirley Riga

Shirley Riga (Producer) has been producing We Did It For You since August 2011. She has been responsible for costumes, wigs, and props, as well as handling all the financials. She is a spiritual coach and teacher, a Certified Psychosynthesis Practitioner, an author and a motivational speaker.  Shirley created OUR CARE Support Group for parents and caregivers of chronically-ill and special needs children. As a single parent raising two daughters, she was a court reporter for 25 years. Riga is licensed to offer Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway Workshops in the Boston area. Her book, Tools for the Exceptional Parent of a Chronically-Ill Child (Strong Voices Publishing, 2016), helps caregivers in the process of finding empowerment beyond fear and adversity. A candidate for certification as a Spiritual Guide through the Rowe Center, Riga continues to run support groups for caregivers. www.shirleyriga.com

Terra Taylor Knudson

Terra Taylor Knudson (Director and Musical Arranger) is a professional actor and Founder/Artistic Director and the company playwright for her company Olio Theatre Works, Inc. She has lent her talents to various groups including the Legendary Clara Ward Singers, the LA Weekly Theatre Awards, the SCIC's 15th Annual Martin Luther King Jr Celebration, the Anaheim Ballet, the Orange County Symphony, the Boys & Girls Club, the Long Beach Playhouse, the Arts Council of Long Beach, and many more. In September 2005, Terra was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Arts Professional of the Year Award by the LB Arts Council for her work with the Arts in the community of Long Beach.

 

Harriet Bennish Harriet Bennish (Musical Director) is a conservatory trained musician with a degree in applied voice. Her musical theater credits include The American Girls Revue, The Most Happy Fella, Carousel, Fiddler on the Roof, and Working. Opera credits include The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute and Madame Butterfly. She is also the lead singer for a Klezmer band in Long Beach, CA. Harriet has a private voice studio in Long Beach where she works with both children and adults, with her oldest student being 87!
