Harriet Bennish (LILLY LEDBETTER) is a conservatory trained musician. Her musical theater credits include The American Girls Revue, The Most Happy Fella, Carousel, Fiddler on the Roof, and Working. Opera credits include The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute and Madame Butterfly.

Christi Bettingen

Christi Bettingen (GLORIA STEINEM, BILLIE JEAN KING, HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON) has more than 20 years in entertainment and mass communications. She has performed extensively as a singer throughout southern California and as far as China. Her experience includes television and radio commercials, spokesperson, and host of the Primetime Talk cable show in Los Angeles.


Thelma Jones (SOJOURNER TRUTH, ROSA PARKS) began singing while still a child with the family gospel recording group, The McDaniel Singers. She moved to R&B when she recorded the original version of 'The House That Jack Built'. She's released many albums, including the critically acclaimed CD 'Law Of Old' in 2002.


Brenda Petoskos (ALICE PAUL) is an actor and performance artist. She has been seen in Master Class (playing Marie Callas), The Rose Tattoo and Tale of Two Cities. She has performed at The Comedy Club and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Suzanne Boston

Suzanne Boston (SANDRA DAY O'CONNOR, SUSAN B. ANTHONY, VIRGINIA WOOLF, ALICE PAUL) is a certified Paralegal with an accounting background. She has three children and she studied art in Florence, Italy and enjoys painting. Loving to volunteer, she builds homes for Habitat for Humanity Women's Build.

Carolyn Coleman

Carolyn Coleman (ROSA PARKS, SOJOURNER TRUTH) has performed in college productions and recently in the film How California Women Won the Vote (Wild West Women Productions). As a southern youth, Carolyn experienced the Freedom Riders, and boycotts. She's excited to continue telling the story of women in history. She holds memberships with organizations that continue to work on the causes of the disenfranchised.

Amber Davidson

Amber Davidson (LILLY LEDBETTER) is a singer and performer. She has performed many major opera roles, including Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, and Musetta in La Boheme. She has performed lead in musicals including Brigadoon, Camelot, Oklahoma, Music Man and On the 20th Century. Amber tours nationally with Opera A LA Carte, a Gilbert and Sullivan opera company, and has won many vocal awards including first place in the Southern California Liszt competition.

Kristin Van Etten Kristin Van Etten (VIRGINIA WOOLF, GLORIA STEINEM, HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON) has done film and stage work, including A Christmas Carol, Showoff!, and the Broken Badge at Camino Real Playhouse. She has studied at the NY Film Academy and the Lee Strasborg Acting and Film Institute.
Ginni Gordon Ginni Gordon (ELEANOR ROOSEVELT, BILLIE JEAN KING, MARY KAY ASH) performs and teaches Polynesian dance. She is a retired dental hygienist/college professor who works with Parents of Teens in the area of effective parenting. She is a Prayer Practitioner at the Center for Spiritual Living in Costa Mesa. Marty Green Marty Green (BETTY FRIEDAN, MARY YOUNG PICKERSGILL, SARAH GRIMKE, MARGARET SANGER) was a theatre major at UCSB and studied at HB Studios in NYC, danced in Vegas and NY where she marched in the 1971 Women's Day Parade. She worked in the music industry managing Roy Ayers and Freddie Hubbard.
  Lashawna Hammond (SOJOURNER TRUTH) is a singer, songwriter, actor, and model. She performs throughout California and is on the cover of Sula, Toni Morrison's novel. Her debut album is Impossible or Possible.
  Lora Cain (ANNE HUTCHINSON, SUSAN B. ANTHONY, GLORY STEINEM) is a writer, actor, musician, and voiceover talent. She was the first female announcer on Wheel of Fortune.She runs the WordStage in Los Angeles.
Jane Hammond

Jane Hammond (HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON, MARGARET SANGER) has traveled extensively throughout Eurpoe, Central America, Chili, Kenya, and Thailand. This is Jane's first play, although she was an excellent stage mom to her two beautiful and talented dauthers. Her experience with the play has been a time of growth and fun.

Deana Kenney Deana Kenney (MELANIE) has been trained in voice, acting, stage movement, and dance with Ellen Prince and at Del Mar Media Arts. Deana has done voice over work for films and commercials. She is a featured soloist at Unity Community Center and at Saddleback College.
Pauli Merry Pauli Merry (SOJOURNER TRUTH, PAULI MURRY, ROSA PARKS) holds a doctorate in counseling psychology. She was a Vice President at Irvine Valley College and the Provost at the Pacific Coast Campus of Long Beach City College. She is happy to volunteer for this play. Anne Perrah Anne Perrah (BELLA ABZUG, ANNE HUTCHINSON, ALICE PAUL) earned her Ph.D. in Mythological Studies from Pacifica Graduate Inst. She is the Founder of Precious Child Enterprises and runs an OC Montessori School. She’s a published poet and author. Anne has performed in community theatre and volunteers as a Special Advocate for the OC Foster Care System.
Shirley Riga Shirley Riga (MARY WOLLSTONECRAFT, SUSAN B. ANTHONY, SANDRA DAY O'CONNOR) has sung in choirs including WINGS, a women's performing choir of Western Massachusetts, the Threshold Choir of Orange County, and Infinity at the Center for Spiritual Living of Newport Mesa. In her spare time, she is a sound healer. Andrea Riggs Andrea Riggs (ALICE PAUL, RADICAL 60s WOMAN) is an author, speaker, and workshop facilitator. She has degrees in business and law from the University of Missouri. Her holistic healing practice includes: hypnotherapy, meridian tapping, guided imagery, NLP and meditation. She is also the author of Wake Up, American Women.
Beverly Tazelaar Beverly Tazelaar (RADICAL 60s WOMAN) has filled her life with marriages, traveling, and working. Her first job (at a soda fountain) at age 14 was for FW Woolworth, the first 5 and dime store in the country. This is Bev's first play. She is a physical therapist and massage therapist. Katrina Troolines Katrina Troolines (MARY WOLLSTONECRAFT) has been a professional practitioner of the Spiritual & Healing Arts for over twenty-five years. She most recently served professionally as the Music Minister for a local congregation and as the Music Muse for The Goddess Temple of Orange County. Vocal performance and songwriting are but one of the ways that she answers Divine Mother’s call to service.
  Dionne Gipson (SOJOURNER TRUTH) is an actor, known for Black Dynamite (2009), Soul Song (2015) and Trois (2000)
  Judy Schluter (MARY WOLLSTONECRAFT) has been singing with productions of the Theatre Guild of Laguna Woods Village for many years, in shows such as  A Night at the Copa.
Michele Amburgey Michele Amburgey (MARY YOUNG PICKERSGILL, BETTY FRIEDAN) began her theatrical career in junior high where she played the starring role as Alvin in a musical rendition of Alvin and the Chipmunks. She has seen done acting and singing roles in her local community. Michele has a small accounting business and works as a Holistic Healing Practitioner. Kat Hagan Kat Hagan (MELANIE) has been singing and dancing from a very early age. Since 2008, she has been singing at the Center for Spiritual Living.
Nancy Klann Nancy Klann (SANDRA DAY O’CONNOR) worked as a marketing and advertising executive for twenty years before leaving corporate life to spend full-time on her art and fiction writing. Learning about We Did It For You! through workshops, she joined the cast as a performer newbie. Mary Schmidt Mary G. Schmidt (MARY WOLLSTONECRAFT, SUSAN B. ANTHONY) has been performing, singing, and dancing at the NoSquare Theater in Laguna Beach for 8 seasons.  She is an award-winning glassblower, watercolorist, and published writer. Mary is currently a Fitness Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer.
  Hillary Van Ness (MELANIE) has been seen in The Vagina Monologues, Doubt, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Proof. She has a degree from Austin College.
  Clara Baker (SOJOURNER TRUTH) has performed with the Old Pros at Laguna Woods Village in many productions.
  Angela Maringer (SOJOURNER TRUTH, ROSA PARKS, PAULI MURRAY) has been seen in L.A. Miserable, L.A. Miserable 2: Still Miserable, L.A. Miserable vs Phantom of the OC, Dish the Musical, Dish the Musical 2, and The Gallery Family Christmas. She performed in Ragtime: The Musical Concert at The Costa Mesa Playhouse. Angela is a freelance cartoonist and illustrator.
  Mary Grace Carpenter (LILLY LEDBETTER) graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a  major in Psychology and a minor in Theatre Arts.  Grace served as a Music Minister at LMU and was soloist with "The Marina Singers."
